Wuikinuxv Nation CedarBox Apps Upgrade

In the second week of July 2015, Greg and I visited the beautiful village of Wuikinuxv alongside the Wannock River in Rivers Inlet. We were there to upgrade the Wuikinuxv's CedarBox server and to provide training on two apps: Cedar Development App (for tracking and analyzing Crown referrals) and CCIRA Marine Indigenous Laws App (for archiving and reviewing historical documents for laws content).

RAVEN stands for 'Respecting Aboriginal Values and Environmental Needs' and is a RAVEN is a non-profit charitable organization that provides financial resources to assist Aboriginal Nations within Canada in lawfully forcing industrial development to be reconciled with their traditional ways of life, and in a manner that addresses global warming or other ecological sustainability challenges.

Cedar Stewardship version 6.2 is here!

IN EARLY JANUARY 2013, all Stewardship Offices using GeoMemes' Cedar tools were upgraded to Version 6.2.0. Highlights of this version include:

- more robust Mail Harvest
- better Spatial Reports (canned GIS reports) storage (that can handle large ESRI Shapefile uploads)
- better Spatial Reports maps (using OpenLayers 2.0)
- an Alphabetical (A B C...) header in Contacts
- better layout of the main Development Application (referral) page
- many more smaller improvements!
