Referrals Tracking and Management Toolbox

GeoMemes has developed a Referrals Toolbox to assist communities track and process resource development referrals and support land resource management. The Referrals Toolbox can be either a standalone system, or it can be integrated into a larger Community Information System.

The Toolbox is flexible and can be configured to work within your community's business processes. It is secure, with industry strength database back-end and adheres to the latest encrypted web-communication standards. It is also extensible and other features such as described in "Optional Functionality" below.

Base Toolbox Functionality

Think of the base Referrals Toolbox as an information gathering tool. Proponents or government fill out the forms. Your staff will never do data entry again.

The following sections describe the core of our Referrals Toolbox.

1. The Referrals Protocols Page includes:

  • A written description of your Referral Process;
  • Web-map of your traditional territory;
  • Attached Protocol Agreements in PDF format; and
  • Link to "Submit a Referral" form

2. The "Submit a Referral" Forms include:

  • Applicant form;
  • Proposal form, having as many custom fields you need described about the proposed development (proponent info, government contact info, project description);
  • Location of the proposed project, collected using either
    • Shapefile upload;
    • Interactive web-map;
  • Attach documents of various types; and
  • Automated response (email) following submission.

3. The Proponent Dashboard includes:

  • Common Actions block (Submit new referral);
  • My referrals list; and a
  • Link to individual Referrals Report (external).

4. The Referral Report (for Proponents) includes:

  • Display of all PUBLICfields (contact information, proposal information);
  • Location map, and;
  • Zoom map.
